One large concern now days is the increase in sea levels, and the affect it is having on our climates. Now days there are many areas near the coast that won't be insured. Many scientists and designers have come together to find ways to incorporate these water issues within city spaces. This way the affects of the issue won't be so bad.

Digging Up Energy Right Out of Your Backyard

So consider this, lessen the use of fossil fuels. No longer need to pay for an energy consumption bill all by digging up energy out of your backyard. Sound too good to be true? Well here is an interesting article that I found in the New York Times published on March 7th, 2011 about a couple who did just that. They are using geothermal technology to heat their home. It sounds pretty awesome definitely something to consider!

Phone or Laptop You Decide

Hey all,

So I know this post isn't the usual architectural innovation however I happen to come across this article within Forbes. As much as I use my smart phone for work and more than just talking I found it pretty interesting. Imagine not having to carry around a laptop or any book for the matter. At least that's how I envision the technology continuing to grow!
